Overview
MomentumAI ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. By using the MomentumAI app, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:
- Account data – your email address and encrypted password when you register.
- Task & schedule data – the tasks, subtasks, priorities, and deadlines you create within the app.
- Availability settings – the weekly time windows you configure so the AI can schedule tasks appropriately.
- Calendar data – read access to your Google Calendar events, only if you choose to connect it. We use this solely to detect scheduling conflicts.
- Usage analytics – anonymized, aggregated data about feature usage (e.g., number of tasks created) to improve the product. This data cannot be traced back to you.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account.
- To power AI task breakdown and smart scheduling features.
- To sync your data across devices.
- To send transactional emails (password resets, account confirmations).
- To diagnose bugs and improve app performance.
We do not use your data to train AI models, serve advertisements, or sell to third parties.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase (PostgreSQL). All data in transit is encrypted via TLS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Supabase – database and authentication hosting.
- Google Calendar API – optional calendar integration (only if you connect it).
- Stripe – payment processing for subscriptions. MomentumAI never sees or stores your full card number.
Your Rights
- Access – request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction – ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion – delete your account and all associated data from within the app, or by emailing us.
- Portability – request an export of your task data in a portable format.

Children's Privacy
MomentumAI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
